Anatoly Bondaruk to Chair POLIEF JSC Board of Directors

Today’s meeting of the Board of Directors of POLIEF JSC elected Anatoly Bondaruk, a former director general of the company, as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The new appointment will enable Anatoly Bondaruk focusing on the company’s strategic development and implementation of plans for expansion of terephthalic acid and polyethyleneterephthalate production.

Alexander Gorshilov, who previously held a position of the director general of SIBUR-PETF JSC, was appointed as the director general of POLIEF JSC.

Shareholders of POLIEF JSC will continue to jointly implement their investment plans in line with the principle of regular rotation of top managers.

Background:

Anatoly Bondaruk was born on March 21, 1958 in Kazatin, Vinnitsa region (Ukraine). In 1981, Mr. Bondaruk graduated from the Higher Military Command School with the degree in Electronic Engineering. In 1989, Anatoly Bondaruk graduated with honor form the Command Department of the Dzerzhinsky Military Academy. Since 1994, he has been engaged in entrepreneurship. In 1997, Mr. Bondaruk became a founder and Director General of Selena, a group of petrochemical companies. Since May 2005, Mr. Bondaruk has been the Director General of Polief JSC. Anatoly Bondaruk is a Ph. D. in Economics.

Alexander Gorshilov was born on December 4, 1947 in Kineshma, Ivanovo region. In 1971, Mr. Gorshilov graduated from the Ivanovo Chemical Engineering Institute with the degree in Chemical Fibers Technologies.

During 1971 — 1981, Mr. Gorshilov worked at the Kalinin Chemical Fibers Factory as Deputy Chairman and later as Chairman of the professional committee for silk production, and he also held a position of Shift Head. During 1981 — 1994, Mr. Gorshilov held positions of Shop Head, Head of Operations Department, Chief Engineer, 1st Deputy Director General, and Director of new facilities of the Lenin’s Manufacturing Group of Companies Khimvolokno in Kalinin.

During 1994 — 1996, Alexander Gorshilov held positions of Chief Engineer, Executive Director on Technologies, Executive Director on Investment and Capital Construction at Tverskoe Volokno OJSC. In 1996, Mr. Gorshilov was the Acting Director General of Tverkhimvolokno-Poliefir OJSC. From 1996 to 2000, he was a Director General of POLIGRAN OJSC.

In 2000, Alexander Gorshilov joined SIBUR as Deputy Director of the Polyethyleneterephthalate Production Division. Since 2000, Mr. Gorshilov has been Technical Director and Director General of Sibur-PETF OJSC.
