SIBUR purchases a 100% stake in NOVATEK-Polymer in Novokuybyshevsk (now BIAXPLEN’s Novokuybyshevsk branch.)
2012
SIBUR becomes BIAXPLEN’s sole owner by increasing its stake to 100%.
2013
BIAXPLEN launches a new production site in Tomsk.
2014
A new BOPP film production line comes on stream at the Novokuybyshevsk branch, increasing its capacity from 30.5 ktpa to 55.5 ktpa.
2019
BIAXPLEN acquires a 50% stake in Manucor S.p.A.
2020
BIAXPLEN launches eight new film types, including those with unique properties, to offer over 40 product grades overall. The Novokuybyshevsk facility starts using energy from renewable sources. BIAXPLEN signs an agreement with the operator of the Adygea wind farm to receive power supply as part of a pilot project.
2021
BIAXPLEN brings the share of production waste sent for reuse to 80%. The company upgrades its BOPP film extrusion lines manufactured by Germany's Brückner.
2023
BIAXPLEN sold it`s stake in Manucor S.p.A.
